NVISO is a pure-play cyber security consulting firm, focused mainly on the Financial Sector, the Technology Sector, and Government & Critical Infrastructure. What makes us special, is our exclusive focus on Security, our customer dedication and our reputation for expertise. Built on values of Pride, Caring for our people, Breaking Barriers, and fostering a no-BS approach, our Mission is to be an innovative, trusted and respected security partner for our clients.

NVISO was founded in 2013 by five young security professionals with a dream: To build a home and a hub for cyber security experts, here in the heart of Europe.

A team built on strong values. A place that prioritizes personal growth and encourages everyone to innovate. A community of experts that strives to be the best at what they do. All working towards the mission of protecting European society from potentially devastating cyber attacks.

We certainly came a long way since 2013. From 5 people to more than 200 people. From our first office in an apartment in Brussels to having 5 offices in Belgium, Germany, Greece and Austria. From being an unknown challenger to being a reference in multiple fields in cyber security.

From following SANS courses ourselves to being the company with the most SANS authors in their ranks.

As we look towards the future, we remain committed to our core values of personal growth and innovation, as well as our mission.

Kurt Ceuppens

Managing Director

Talk music festivals and star wars, and you'll get Kurt's full attention. As CEO, Kurt steers NVISO towards its mission: Become a european cyber security leader, home to exceptional cyber experts.

Erik Van Buggenhout

CSIRT & SOC Director

Erik and his team help NVISO customers detect & respond to incidents. He also teaches and authors for SANS (SEC599 and SEC699), speaks at conferences and makes terrible dad jokes, peferably all at the same time. Erik is from Puurs-Sint-Amands, where they make Duvel, 'nuff said.

Vincent Defrenne

Cyber Strategy & Architecture Director

Vincent loves jokes and complex infosec governance problems. He leads a team of GRC & Awareness experts, vCISOs and Cyber Architects. He initiated Belgium's students cyber competition and can talk for hours about raising new cyber talent..

Daan Raman

Innovation Director

Daan is leading NVISO Labs, the research arm of NVISO. Together with the team, he drives initiatives around innovation to ensure we stay on top of our game. When Daan is not thinking about the day AI becomes sentient, he loves to play open world games & read books about space.

Tim Beyens

Offensive Security Director

Tim and his teams assist clients in detecting security vulnerabilities before actual hackers do. We focus on offensive security testing and use our knowledge to assist in making a secure design for applications and cloud environments. When Tim is not behind his computer you can find him running trails in nature.

Pierre-Alain Mouy

Managing Director DACH

Pierre-Alain is the Managing Director of NVISO GmbH, covering the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). He has 20 year experience in the field of Cyber Security and has been a penetration tester for more than 12 years.

Operations Director
